Inspired by the animals and creatures that appear in the Seven Sacred Teachings.
We read about The Seven Grandfather or Grandmother teachings (as they are also called) with our children this year. We learnt these traditional teachings have many layers and to earn the right to learn the deeper layers one must show respect, care and be helpful citizens.
Each follows a community value, and in Indigenous worldview relationships are central. Everything revolves around relationships.
Each set contains seven cards including a Wolf, Bison, Bear, Eagle, Turtle, Sasquatch and Beaver.
Cards are locally printed in East Sussex UK after original art works. The cards measure 5 x 7” each comes with a white envelope.
